Racing Goals
LGH Racing believes that the measure of success is the ability to attain all of your goals. We have set up many goals, some considered “baby steps” and others seen as “leaps of faith”. Both categories have brought success to LGH Racing, and we are intent on maintaining such progress. Here is a history of our goals.
2005 GOALS:
*Run 1 Race – accomplished on May 22nd.
*Win 1 Race – accomplished on May 22nd.
*Run Multiple Races – accomplished on June 26th.
*Win Multiple Races – accomplished on June 26th.
2006 GOALS:
*Open Season in Top Five – accomplished on April 4th, (4th place finish).
*Match 2005 Win Total (2) – accomplished on August 27th, (swept both races in double-header)
*Compete for Points Title – finished fifth in points.
2007 GOALS:
*Win Opening Race – accomplished on February 18th.
*Contend for Championship Win – finished 3rd overall.
2008 GOALS:
*Contend for win in first race of season – March 16th.
*Earn top five finish in SWRA Regional debut – March 29th.
*Earn at least 1 win in 2008 SWRA season – June 13th.
*Win 3 to 5 races at GCKI – accomplished
*Contend for title at GCKI – finished 1st
*Contend for title in SWRA – finished 3rd overall
GOALS
*earn start in Grand-Am Road Racing Association, American LeMans Series or Italian/British/Asian Formula 3, where the top 3 earn a test drive in a Formula 1 car!
*earn FIA SuperLicence. Race in Formula 1 by the time the series debuts in Austin, TX in 2012!
